Add new object

  1. Click "Add object" button or you can use one of the suggested shortcuts(N/Ctrl+Shift+1..0)
  1. Click on the image to start annotating with Lasso tool by default, and adjust the mask. You can also use Brush tool brush_add_bl-2x, Auto-selection tools-magic-wand-plus ,or AI annotation ai---2x .
  1. Double-click, (E) or to finish object creation.

Draw the object

  1. Select the object from an object list tools-objects ( i).
  1. Click brush_add_bl-2x and choose the shape and size ([) (]) of the brush.

  1. Click and hold to draw the line of any required shape.
  1. Click where the line starts then press Ctrl and click where the line ends to draw a straight line.
  1. The same functions are available with Erase tool brush_remove_bl-2x.

Select an object

Right-click on the object or choose it from the list of objects tools-objects (i).

Change object type

You can change object types within one annotation shape. If you have a few bitmap objects in the list tools-objects (i), you can swap the type of the existed object, to do so:
  1. Select an object.
  1. Click change-type :
  1. Choose one of the given options in the drop-down menu.

Delete an object

To delete object completely:
  1. Select an object.
  1. Click delete or Backspace.

Change the Stacking order

  1. Select the object.
  1. Click tools-z-order and choose one of the options from the drop-down menu.

Move the object

  1. Select the object.
  1. Click tools-move(]) and drag the object.
  1. Click “Apply” (E).

Redraw

  1. Select the object.
  1. Click tools-redraw-2x-1 or R .
  1. Draw a new mask.

Edge smoothing

  1. Select the object.
  1. Click corners_bl-2x
  1. Adjust scroll sensitivity to smooth distorted annotation by dragging the slider

  1. Click “Apply” (E).
 
💡
You can adjust the line accuracy of this drawing with the "Sensitivity" slider.

Auto-Selection

  1. Select the object.
  1. Click tools-magic-wand-plus and put a dot over the object.
  1. Fine-tune the accuracy of the selection by adjusting the Sensitivity.
  1. Click “Apply” (E).
💡
If the tool detects and highlights similar pixels outside of the object you want to annotate, you can use the Subtract Auto-Selection tools-magic-wand-minus tool. Just put a dot over the excessive pixels and adjust the Sensitivity threshold to remove them.

Spot Healing

  1. Select the object.
  1. Click heal_bl-2x.
  1. Choose to remove holes (absent pixels within the object's mask), remove islands (excessive pixels outside the mask), or both.
  1. Modify the tool's sensitivity by dragging the threshold slider.
  1. Click “Apply” (E).

Tracking object

  1. Select the object.
  1. Click track-2x-1.
  1. Select the number of frames on which the object needs to be tracked following the current frame.

💡
Before applying the result, you can review how the tracked object looks on every frame, and provide additional prompts (foreground and background points and/or bounding box) on individual frames if the object was not detected correctly on that particular frame.
